Frequently asked questions.
What can i expect from Therapy?
Effective therapy is collaborative and tailored to each person. There is no one size fits all approach. That said, therapy is a confidential and safe space to explore and process your innermost thoughts and feelings as I walk alongside you as a gentle guide. I will allow you to lead therapy sessions in order to encourage self-advocacy and client-centered care but will provide insight, reflection, tools, and skills to aide in managing whatever discomfort or distress has brought you here.
How often/how many sessions are recommended?
Frequency of sessions is something we will discuss and plan for in our initial first and second sessions together as we move through the intake process and treatment planning process collaboratively. I understand that not all people can commit to weekly sessions. We will explore what suits your needs best. However I find that weekly to every other week is best and contributes to more effective work together.
DO YOU ACCEPT INSURANCE?
I am in network with Anthem BCBS, United Healthcare, Aetna, Cigna, & Optum. I also accept out of network/self-paying clients. For those utilizing out of network benefits, I am happy to provide a superbill for applications for reimbursement or application towards deductibles. However, all clients are responsible for working with their own insurance providers on confirming and managing out of network benefits.
What are your THERAPY rates (self pay)?
